In this term 02, the Future Proof Personal Development Planning lesson requires my classmates and I to make a fashion event. Different from usual where the tasks given are individual, this time we work together as a team. In fact, teamwork is not as easy as I imagined, such as bringing together everyone’s opinions to become a unified idea. Sometimes we have different opinions from our friends or unconsciously let one person do a lot of work, which creates a problem in teamwork. In this blog, I will discuss 5 crucial elements in building a successful teamwork.

01. Communication
Establishing effective communication is the most important part of teamwork by giving equal opportunities to each member to convey the information or opinions they have. Besides being a good communicator, we must also be a good listener. By listening to the opinions of other colleagues, we must show our respect. This is become one of the methods in building trust between one and another. Having an open mind towards new ideas and collaborating to create harmonious results is something that must also be considered.
02. Delegation
A team that works well together can certainly understand each other strength and weakness owned by every member. When we can identify each member correctly, we can allocate tasks to the most appropriate team members. The tasks that given to the right hands can create maximum results. For example: design assignments must be given to the group member who are reliable and have the skill to use adobe such as Photoshop and Illustrator, and financial matters must be left to those who are good at counting.
03. Efficiency
Strong teams are those who can work efficiently and complete tasks in a timely manner. By working together, we will have deeper understanding of the abilities of ourselves, friends to the team. Therefore, we can manage each workload given to each individual. by distributing tasks according to portions, each individual can complete the work with the maximum ability and the task can be completed at a predetermined time.
04. Ideas
In teamwork we must get used to offering suggestions and ideas to be discussed together. Each member must provide mutual respect and trust between each other so that there is no shame and fear to express opinions. Besides that a comfortable environment can also help us to think more creatively to get more productive results.
05. Support
Every job has its own challenges. Therefore we must face it together. Comfortable environment is a team that mutually supports one another. We can help one another when faced with difficulties and convince others to be able to provide the best results.
In conclusion, most of the elements have been applied by me and the classmate when creating the event.We delegate tasks equally to each member so that all contribute to this event.We also communicate everything before making any decision in order to prevent any mistakes. However, not all members are willing to express their idea. Even though the more idea will be able to make this event even better. But overall, we always support each other to give the best for the event.
